I can confirm that RA23/28 and RA40 W50s have shifters in the same spots... as I had one of each in my RA23 at various stages, and both were positioned the same. Corona W50 may be somewhat different. As for T50s, there were many different vehicles that they came in. TE72 T-18s were one where they will drop straight into a TA22/23, but not necessarily have the same shifter positions. W5x's have at least 4 different extension housings for shifter positions, so Ibz, its quite possible you got a W50 with a more rearward shifter position than the original RA23/28 items.

Clutch master cylinder new is $38 non genuine and slave cylinder is a little cheaper. buy those new instead of second hand and you will be thankfull.

Actually I would slightly disagree there airfirman. You are better off getting secondhand items stainless steel sleeved and kitted, they will last much longer than new ones then. Costs a bit to do the sleeving, but if you are going to keep the car for a long time, then its well worth it IMHO
