hey guys worked on my mates ta23. we put to gether the 18rg and the 5spd in resonable time. changed the crossmember and everthing was going well. until we slapped the engine and box in and the gearbox xmember lined up but the engine sump ended up hitting the crossmember. i know for sure the x member was out of a ra23 but it had a 18rc (that shouldnt make a differance should it??) any help on anything would be great.
would the old ta23 alternator fit on??
reading on the old forums (thank god for them) found out that i should use the w50 xmember but today we used the t series gearbox xmember is that weird?
im also looking for these following items.
*starter motor
*trumpets (i havent seen them in NSW yet)
ill probably be editing soon as i remember things lol

I believe there were a few different sumps for the 18rgs, just use the sump off the 18rc as far as i know.
