Hey everybody,
As the title suggests I'm after a pair of struts for my '22, and I thought I'd ask here to see if anybody's got any reccommendations on where to go in SA (or where not to go). I've thought maybe Sleeka Spares or Pedders?
Thanks in advance guys.

Depends if you're after complete struts or just inserts, any decent aftermarket spares place should be able to get Monroe/KYB inserts for the stock strut tubes. It would be worth asking if they can get complete replacement struts too. Perhaps try Motor Traders, they seem to have access to a pretty good range.
After complete struts.
Thanks for your help!

Im pretty sure there is more than one TA22 at the Lonsdale U-Pull-It, so that would be a good bet.
They charge ~$30ea from memory.
Could also try Toyospares at Lonsdale too.

failing that, i have some 22 struts with kyb inserts and lowered king springs along with matching shocks and springs for the rear if you're keen. But this is definitely the wrong place for this thread...
Assumption is the mother of all f**kups...
Now that you mention it, it should be in parts wanted hey. My bad!
Thanks for the help everyone. I'll be giving a few places a ring today.

Yes it should be in the parts wanted section. However are you after the whole strut e.g spring, disk and caliper included? Or just the strut itself? Sleeka Spares is definately the place to go he has plenty of TA22 struts and accessories. What is the reason your looking? If your just replacing your old struts I priced up some shocks today. $400 Should get you a matching set front and rear KYB shocks with change. Depending on what you wanted lowering may still be under that don't quote me on it tho. If you want stock TA struts with disks I have a pair without mounting plate the springs are loose, in my backyard if your interested Im in Burton.
However if your simply doing a replacement you could get some RA struts they have bigger brakes it is simply a bolt in situation. the only thing you may want to do is fit your TA springs to the RA struts or it'll look jacket as the RA are set up for a heavier engine. Either way if your interested let me know
Ah never mind mate, I got some struts today from a wrecker here in Lonsdale, fair bit closer to me than sleeka spares too. Thanks though.
