    ah there we go. must have been the vy that was first of the clip in boxes. been that long since i've worked on anything older than a vz i couldn't remember.

    commodres are held together by clips arent they
    JZX83+ FMIC+ Twin 2.5" dumps to 3"+ FCD+ 2800rpm stallie+ 14psi - LSD - good tyres = 12.85 @105.58

    clips and screws.......like every other car!

    although i must admit, the ve has a lot more clips than a vz. anfter working on them since they came out, i wouldn't own one. a big drop in build quality since they vz in my opinion.

    pulled apart a new statesman caprice they other day and the thing was missing one of the main bolts holding the dash board sub frame to the car. not bad for a $70,000 car aye.

    Now put it back in using only your teeth.

    weight reduction gains fuel economy. one bolt from every part installed missing or subbed with one 2mm under min rqd.
