New user request submitted, no response?

I've had a new user application submitted on Friday but we've yet to have a response. Could someone please follow it up?

Today is Monday.
These things take time.
ALso a user name might help us find the person your talking about.

I didn't want to put the username out in public, just yet hence why I didn't list it.

And, I'm aware these things take time, however I understood that sufficient time had been taken and I thought it might be necessary to validate whether the request had infact been recieved.

Is it appropriate to send you the username directly?

You have to remember that
1/ I am the ONLY person that does these.. And
2/ I don't do them on the weekend as I have kids to entertain

lol i think my signup took like 5 weeks or so, as did a mate of mine, and your worried about 3 days, 2 of which were a weekend!

What is the deal with new forum users not getting responses when they try and sign up? I understand things take time but how long is too long? My mate has tried to sign up and i think it was 4 weeks ago. He still isn't able to log in or heard back from the mods or whoever.

I don't know whats going on lately but most of the people complining about not getting any response is because they have not replied to the activation email and therefore are not even on the list for me to approve.

If he can't login, then he hasn't clicked the activation link in the email...

User's that have clicked the activation link, can login, but cannot see anymore than a guest...

im wondering how many applictions you might see a week , i sent kirsty a pm 3 days ago asking about a new member i refered to the site weeks ago , i figure your busy but not getting a reply is frustrating every day when i see the guy i get " no reply yet ?" , does he need to reapply or do i need to confirm his email address via pm or ?, willing to assist if i can cheers dave
