    Default 4WD Toymods Cruise....Trial Run

    Hey Guys,

Well the first trip I planned, generated a bit of interest, but panned in the end due to
rig problems mainly at the time with most of the people, and some just never got back
to me, but that's cool, these things happen.

I know this is virgin grounds on a forum such as this fine specimen
but I am still on a mission to organise a Toymods 4WD cruise,
and as the avatar states, take Toymods Offroad!

Now alot of you fellow Toymodders have PM'd me since the last attempt showing interest,
and I know a few blokes have just bought themselves new rigs (Sprinter-Saurus, etc)
so, lets get em out there and dirty em up some.

I will have my truck back on the road in about 2 weeks or so,
so I was thinking we should go out for a trip on Saturday the 10th of November.
That gives you all 1 month to get your trucks sorted. more than enough time.

This time however, due to the nature of organising a 4WD trip
I am gonna organise it a little differently than last.

If you wanna be in on this Joyous Toymods Occaision....
firstly PM me your mobile and your details.
then post up on here, saying what truck you have, what mods it has if any,
and when you are keen to go, and what you are keen to drive.
This way, even if this trip does not eventuate, I can at least create a
private Toymods register of all the Toymods blokes who are keen to go
    offroad with their Toyota's.

This will definately start the ball rolling, and will ensure many more Toymod's
offroad adventures. After all, Toyota don't just make the best CARS in the world...

    Cheers,
    Bart

I don't mind getting my truck dirty. Can't do the 10th, but I’ll put my details down for the next time your organizing something.

96' 80 Series, 4.5L Petrol guzzling tank. 35's, bar work, tough dog 4inch lift with incar adjustable shocks, air tank, water tank, snorkel, custom draw set up, fridge, full sound system including 2 12inch subs, and more electronic gismos inside than you can poke a stick at.

Here are a few action shot’s. Most taken when out with the Down Under 4x4 Club.

My Toymods car is a rolla.
My 4wd is a Paj. Does that mean I'm out?

PHOBIA, is that up in the Watagan State Forest?? I've driven those tracks before,
    they look hella familiar.

Streetfighter 2, you can bring your Paj dude. is it a j-top?? they are kewl.
Bt you are in QLD, bit far to drive but if you want to, come on down.

Tomvale, 4WDing is ALWAYS fun dude. much more fun than just "cruising" around taking
photos, and safer than going out doing skids. You should get a 4WD and get amongst it.

    Anyone else keen?

Due to the amount of environmental vandals that log onto forums and violate 4WD tracks.
To all the people who have PM'd me your mobiles, when I respond to you and let you
know the time and the place this is on, do not post it on ANY other forums at all.
This is only a Toymods thing, and I want to try and keep it to limited numbers.
Especially if we have alot of stock vehicles.

    Cheers,
    Bart

The top two are from MtSugerloaf and the bottom two are in the Watagan's, Smoko Corner and Whiteman’s Lane if your are familiar with track names.
The Watagan’s is really close to home, I actually spend most weekends up there on the bike, truckin only a few times a year. Good fun though.

Yeah my Dad owned "Dial a Safari" in Darwin when I was young,

Troop Carriers full of tourists being taken 4wd'ing to waterfalls and through river crossings (often with me on the bull-bar)

    miss those days!

    Dude,
Sell those 20" and get some 35"s or 33"s (OUTER Diameter) MUD tyres. Wheel them,
Keep the 16"s for daily driving. That's what I'd do. But that's me, and I love 4WDing.

    That aside,
    Dem Twennys look good man.
But you must blind some folks driving on sunny days.

    C'mon guys,

Don't be afraid if you've only got a stocker, my lux was stock once too you know.
I have done all the mods myself to get her where she is today, and there have been lots.
so you don't need to "keep up" with me, or anything like that,
it is just a friendly drive, offroad, with some fellow Toymodders. And I am more than happy
to tow your car out of trouble if you get into it. I have all the gear to recover you and then
    some.

IF you don't want to drive a certain track, that's cool, there are bypass tracks
    for you to avoid damage.

Remember, 4WDs were MADE for 4WDing. Don't be scared to use the vehicle for its
intended purpose. I have been 4WDing for many years, with many different types of
4WD, so I will be able to assist you before you get stuck in the first place.

What date is everyone free to go for a drive??

    Cheers,
    Bart

I can make it whatever day you guys want.
The 10th was just a tentative idea. Just post up what dates are good for you mate,
then I will pick the most universally convenient date for everyone, and we'll go then.
I'm pretty easy, just let me know so I can organise stuff.
