why is the pressure always on. It may be possible to have the car running, but as always, I am up against it...
It's nothing special, it's all back together basically...I took it out for a drive to the exahust shop to have them re-mount the muffler at the back to find out half way there were no seatbelts in the car! lolOriginally Posted by andurils_sheath

I can't believe it. I rang "motor improvements" who are doing some machine work for me and they still have done the piston to valve clearances for me..... Fair enough they have just moved premises, but it been months! I think I may call him tomorrow and just settle the bill and take my stuff elsewhere.
I'll send you the bill.Originally Posted by -NiCkeL-

Damn, that sucks Eddie!
I dropped in to see them last month, and he was a nice bloke. He came straight out and said there is no point even dropping work off until about now, because they were so busy with the move. It's a fair excuse I reckon.
But, if it's already been months... thats not good![]()
Motor Improvements will have the job ready for Monday arvo. Then I can take the head back to head stud to get it shaved(min to flat), reassambled with the toda valve springs and new cams. Then the shims.... Hopefully, they can move quite promptly on it....
If Lucy isnt ready, I'll just take the new scooby-doo....![]()

Well, looks like I'm not going to make this event as I have to go to Canberra to pick up my new engine that weekend...
I would do it another weekend, but weekends either side of this are booked...
Sorry guys!
