    Default Question about old Forums

Couldn't find anything remotely related to this in the search...

I went in a little while ago to try an update my member's ride thread, which is linked through my sig, and I realised that my pics had gone because I removed them from that server. so now I have a whole lot of info and no pics. so what do I try to do next? upload the collection of pics to a different host and try to edit the posts on the old Toymods forum from where the original member's ride thread was made. I'm about to go and apply message changes when it comes back and tells me "You have an error"... the posting password is incorrect. I honestly don't recall a posting password being applied to posts on those forums. so I try a few passwords which might have some potential, to no avail. can anyone tell me if it's possible to still edit your threads on the old forums or even to reset the 'posting password'? just because I REALLY don't wanna have to go recreating that thread and it's shitload of pics from scratch...

    Help appreciated, as always.

    Hi,

The old forums are read-only. You cannot edit or delete things on them.

I remember being on the old, old forums for a grand total of about a week back in 2002, before they switched over to toymods.org.au sadly I didn't know about Toymods or even own a Toyota before that!

as long as no body tries to recreate the 'erection bat' thread on this forum, old forums ftw.

    Hi,

He is around, but in the new forums you can only have one ID and therefore Draven cannot use his secret/alternate persona.

It's before my time, but as far as I know the database ended up in an unrecoverable state.

Is there any way we can get the old forum information back? I'm sure a few of the members would lend a hand to make it happen? I for one would be happy to host it if need be.
    Cheers,
    -Paul.
