Almost done, just needs the wiring wrapped where it goes thru the firewall.
Would have driven it up the road this arv if it wasn't for a big storm that prompted us to do this -

    Here's the finished Intercooler piping.

I'll get a shot of the car tomorrow. It is pretty well finished now so the owner can drive it and report back.

    Got the tacho working!! WOOT.
The problem was with the booster I made. The relay coil I used had a diode across the winding. I cut it out and the tacho is now alive. That was really bugging me.

Just got a text from the owner, made 280kw atw @ 13 psi. Injectors would be gasping for breath at this rate I imagine.
Hmm, what to purchase next. New injectors or new gearbox. Needs both.

Little update. Made a couple of improvements. NA radiator was struggling so the owner got a CX racing(chinese) alloy rad from the states. It didn't fit at all so I cut the bottom mounts off the rad support panel and made some new ones the mount the rad lower. Not sure why it didn't fit, perhaps the US supras have a different radiator support panel?

Also replaced the busted coilpacks with a set of ED falcon bosch coils. All mounted on SS brackets. Turned out pretty good.
It's ready for a set of injectors now to make use of the GT35.

Fitted some US 550cc injectors and fiddled the safc on this today and it made 430hp atw at 24psi on a mainline dyno. Still in the 10's afr but was getting ignition breakdown so no more boost was added. 2JZ FTW.
That should be enough to kill the NA gearbox!

    Another update.
The 2JZ had made 509hp atw at 26psi with the GT35. Still a bit of fuel there.
We decided that a bigger turbo was required and we ended up with a GT4294R from GCG. The owner fitted the turbo after I modified the new ebay T4 split manifold to take a HKS copy 60mm wastegate, tidied up the dismal collector and added a 12mm spacer so the comp housing cleared the exhaust runners.

I then made a 3.75" exhaust with a 5" cat and single 3.5" cannon, modified the intercooler piping and tapped the throttle body for a Zex nitrous nozzle(50hp atm). The eboost is set to switch the zex off at a preset boost pressure(ended up at 9 psi once on the dyno).

It went on the dyno last night and pulled 554hp atw at 22 psi. The GT42 did it pretty easily and the 2J was yawning. The 550s are pretty much maxed now at 11.2:1 afr, it doesn't make anymore power with boost. Good numbers for a stock engine/stock ecu combo. Will post dyno charts when I get them.

W58 died ages ago. It's R154 and puck clutch now. The W58 did an honourable job though.
