Or if you are lazy like me then just use more bog.![]()
Its a pretty easy process really.
Thickest would probably be about a mil actually. Take your time with a hammer and you can get it smooth, then skim it over and sand it back and you're done.Originally Posted by EldarO

anything body wise can be fixed with either a hammer, angle grinder, welder and bog.
looks like a good thing to do, might take some time thought![]()

i helped a panel beater mate (read: watched) do his datto 1600 guards and he used a large slide hammer mostly, following up with a panel beaters hammer and a dolly and then finaly a minimal amount of filler. he made an attachment for the slide hammer, looked like an L shape . when i told him he could do mine next, he said mine (sprinter) would be easier because at the end of the gaurd there is a vertical bit of metal, that he could use to increase the width even more.
That's exactly what I did. I bent that vertical lip outwards to give more flare. Remember, front guards of a Sprinter are super thin, so along with flaring, we unknowingly pumped the whole guard out which gave teh uber-clearance.Originally Posted by cri_ag
