4age problems

hey i have a twin cam ae82 but with the newer engine and was having some problems, at idle it misses irrigularly and when i get off the throttle it is really jerky, anyone had experiences with this or any ideas???

Checked leads, plugs and dizzy cap etc?

hey there,

grab your multimeter and feeler gauge, and check that the throttle position sensor is set right. back in the day mine wasn't, and I had some similar symptoms.

i'll 2nd that. In my old 4ac i had those symptoms and it turned out that it was running on 3 cylinders. What's it like on acceleration?

I wound just replace them old spark plugs, check the vac line to the map sensor.

I also have this problem, its not bad enough for me to worry about (yet) but i have all new leads, plugs, ect ect. short of pulling out the multimeter, it has got me stumped.
