Default Serious 3sgte issues. codes 51,14. need help!

I've just got my car up and running (sort of) after being off the rd for 4 months. After my 1st drive around thew block the ecu is giving me codes 51 and 14.gen2 3sgte. i have driven a total of 29kms and my car has broken down twice.. The car just stopped while sitting in traffic. i got another ignitor about 3 hours ago and put it in. the car started up and drove fine. still throwing code 51 though. then i drove about another 10kms and the car died again. about 1 hour ago this happened. and its code 14 and 51 again. i think i might of blown this new ignitor.. car will not start back up. I just got it towed home about 20mins ago.

I really need some help to fix this problem.

Also (weird problem) when i tried to reverse out of the driveway thsi morning the car would stall.it would go forwards fine. now the wiring going to the ignitor that is mounted on firewall doesnt have much slack in it. i figured that the shifter linkages was pulling the wiring loom when i selected reverse.. well i sorted that out. i got the car to reverse
(this is just a bit of background info, maybe to help you brainstorm)

well code 14, no igf signal to ecu.

maybe grab a multimeter and check for continuity from the ignighter lines to the ecu, make sure there is no break in the lines. even go and pull the plugs apart and tighten all the connections in the plugs, that one reason mine wouldn't start when i did the 4agze in mine, it wasn't starting and the ecu wasn't getting the signal

51 says its a problem in a monitered circuit, between tps, neutrel switch, and a/c signal

the only thing i can suggest, is grab a mutlimeter and do some checks on the tps, have you played around with the ecu while it was off the road? maybe check again make sure the lines get continuity between the ecu

Well 14 is definately no signal from ignitor, so something is either astray with your ignitor or your wiring. You're definately using a gen2 3SGTE ignitor with the gen2 ECU?

Are the two problem codes 14 and 51. could they be directly related?

I will check the continuity on the ignitor to coil.

What's strange is that i didnt touch any of the wiring when i took the motor appart. car was running fine witht he current ecu, ignitor, coil for over a year. I took the inlet manifold off the head with the loom attached, so i was pretty careful not to touch much of the wiring.

just went outside and checked with the multimeter. there wasn't good contact on with the white and blue striped wire on the end of the plug. If i wiggled the wire the beeping on my multimeter would stop...

so i plugged it back in and it started straight up. while it was running, i touched it, and the car cut out. surprise,surpise..

I noticed that sus wire when i replace the ignitor today, but thought nothing of it. it looks good still, like its attached strongly..

    Thanks for the help fellas
