Default What is the ID of a Toyota 51mm OD strut?

I need to know what the inside diameter is of a 51mm OD strut tube please.
    Eg AE86, Celicas, Coronas etc.

Does anyone know if a P36 Bilstein (46mmOD case) will fit?

Hmmm that says approx 46mm ID. Might go close as the Bilstein is 45.#mm OD.

ahhh, it will be close, maybe you can borrow one to test? or as linden suggests, shave down a lil for extra clearance?

yeah it should but it will be a f%%n tight fit.If you only manage to have 1/3 of the probs i had making them fit youll have a ball

Have a read of my thread on strut bending, I use a cortina strut (same size as the toyota) and also use the bilstein insert.

Youl get an idea of what it like making them fit.
