    Default thermostat 18rg

I got a new Genuine thermostat today for my 250 head 18rg. Its a 88 degree one. From the forum Apparently I'm ment to be running a 82 degree one, will this be a problem if I dont bother changing it. Thanks.
Getting your missus to help bleed the brakes isn't everybody's idea of quality time.

it shouldn't be.. i'm meant to be running an 82 degree, but because of new radiator + cooling system flush + overly sensitive temp sensor after the radiator, i prefer to use the 91 degree as it's good for fuel economy and cruising, plus i get the heater working better..

make sure you use the gasket that goes around the thermostat itself and then clean the thermostat housing before you put the gaskets back together.. to minimize leaks + any coolant to go through around the thermostat.. should be all good
