I'm a busy man, generally don't have time for waiting on the phone to speak to someone.

then why have a email address if you're not gonna make any attempt to use it?

And yes I've been into Toyota before on numerous occasions, usually get some useless twat of a rep who's attitude is, don't know don't care. That's why I've started using the forums, you can get the info you need, from like minded people who actually give a sh!t.

heh - working in the parts trade i can guarnatee its better talking to someone We get email orders regularly and still need to chase it up with a call most of the time

PLUS if you talk to someone hos helpful , you can build on that for the rest ..

Its not anti email , just a more effective way of dealing with the trade

Fair enough, point taken. Before the GT4, I totally relied on my mechanic to sort out any problems on the daddo / magna / astina SP

    what a learning curve!

You own a Gt4 mate - you usually have to find mechanics parts or explain to them what happens as none of them will have ever seen one !

Dont ever get a mechanic to get a driveshaft for you - i can guaranteed it wont fit - especially if its a widebody as they never check these things

easy, just gotta know the part numbers.

Obviously they don't know about this new technology called EMAIL as I've only sent them like 5 over the last couple of months.

i would imagine the brackets to bolt it on.

either way the weight saving would be somewhere in the order of 10kgs or more i think if the 162 front bar is anything to go by, bloody heavy bit of gear that is

The second piece runs along the underside of the top of the bumper bar cover.

Its not needed, and actually will cause fitment problems when using the standard bumper.

I did the full Group A nose/bumper conversion on mine and didn't use the second reo at all

yeh I found the full list for the GrpA Bumper & Hood conversion on the the forums here a few weeks ago, (FAQ for GT4's or something) he listed 2 reinforcement parts, so I thought you'd need both, but if you just need the main bar, then it's the first part number.

Tony Flood does my GT4 over here in WA, he used to rally them, so he knows them pretty well I'd imagine

I used both .. Its a little stronger in support overall , but not necessary in the long run ..

Seieing the mongrel was quite a bit more group A than standard by the time i had finished it - one more proper Group A bit wasnt much of a problem
