    Default a70 coilovers?

I've been looking into getting coilovers for my ma70 and not really sure what brand to buy. D2 and HSD look good and fairly cheap (about $1350-1400) they have pretty similar specs. People say Teins are also good are they much better than the cheaper brands? Btw their going in a daily driven car, but in the future might see some track time (when the 1jz goes in).
    cheers

D2 are a pile of shit. If you're thinking of doing any track time on them, slap yourself in the head.

HSD are a quality setup for the same price roughly.. Tein will cost you more but is a bit better quality yet again. Your best bet on new coilies is to go HSD HS Series for daily driving with occasional track use. I run Cusco Comp-S's and they're ok, a little stiff for street, but still acceptable.

second hand coilovers are around the same as new normal struts, you really cant compare the two.

ive got KYB Buzz Spec coilovers in mine, its stupidly stiff for the street, that said, they are adjustable, and i have them on their hardest setting

Thanks for warning me about the D2's guys! I'd heard HSD were good but hadn't heard much about D2. Looks like HSD it will be then!
