tread wear rating can be a vague way to tell how hard the compound is, the lower being softer

dunno if they do 14s anymore (G3s came in 14s)

15s are about 130, i think the 14s were similar.

They have only been out for a few months so I'm not sure there are too many comparables out there yet

But they did suprisingly well in the wet roads out to Wisemans Ferry today.

if you are looking at second hand jap tyres.. look for the Bridgestone RE-01R.. they may not be in 14" tho.

they are above the RE055, the RE001 adn SO3 etc..

I just got a set of adrenalins on saturday and so far they seem pretty good, but when you drive like a granny it's hard to tell.

Treadwear on the Adrenalins is superior (longer lasting) to the Potenza G3's.

And better in the wet, too, which is a bloody good thing...

Just put a set of bridgestone adrenalins on about two weeks ago for my 16"s (205 50 r16) set me back about 840 for the 4, plus alignment / balancing. Supurb tyre, and awesome in the wet.

Only problem is you have to find someone in Japan to bring them in. Thats what a mate of mine has done and bought like 10x 185/60/14 4x 195/50/15 4x 16 4x 17 and so on

GIIIs were pretty good in the wet, at least as much as I've found. Don't think the RE001s come in 205/45/16 though, which will make me spend money elsewhere
