    Oh really? Interesteing.

I've had many many hours experience screwing around with Haltech ecu's trying to get them to work with various types of pickups. I have since come tolearn a few things.

I have had custom hall effect discs and sensors made up for my 1uz. Works a treat. HOwever, with some screwing around, I also needed to test the VR sensors on the 1uz with my Sprint 500. Works fine on the sprint 500, they NEVER worked on the IG5, which is closer to your E6 generation technology.

I haven't read the rest of your post, what engine are you trying to get this to work on and it's E6 is it?

I can maybe help? (hell, I've even proven haltech wrong on a couple of occasions... *puffs chest*)
