pod on 4age screwed up TVIS???

Hey i put a a pod on my car, didnt hav the hoses hooked up from the stock box when first tested it out. Ive hooked them up now but when i drive it makes a weard noise between 3500ish RPM till tvis kicks in at well now 4200rpm and between 3700rpm and 4200rpm it lags preaty bad but when TVIS kicks in it goes like normal. It never did b4 i put the pod on so i put the stock box back on and it still lags and makes the noise.
Anyone else experience this problem or anyone no wat it is and/or how to fix it??

what hoses are you referring to ?

it sounds like you've knocked off or broken a vac hose to the tvis controller or something along those lines. id be looking for any loose or broken vac lines around the manifold. they will make a hissing noise all the time. and if its a vac hose for the tvis it could stuff up the operation of it, causing the lag.
