    andrew after the error msg i went to a completely different site and it still double posted.
    that was at a friends place using TPG
    milk and juice come in 2L, The cheapest wines come in 5L, the finest vodka comes in 1L

    Ok, during Toymods trip to the bermuda triangle at around 10 last night, I updated my rides thread. Now this is some freaky shit. It said it wouldnt work so I closed Toymods and went to bed in protest.

    I went into my rides thread this morning to have another go, but cos im too lazy to search my subscriptions, I clicked on the pink "51LII" link in my sig. And well well last nights post was there...

    But then get this... I closed the window by accident, so went back in and instead of going through my sig, I went to look for it in the rides thread, as I figured it would be somewhere near the top. But WTF? I search through 3 or 4 pages and finally find it, and last night's post ISNT there, but it was there 5 mins ago in the sig link.

    Can someone fix this or should I re-update the post by accessing the thread through the members rides and not my sig? I have copied it over into a file cos its a long one with some photos

    EDIT: It seems to have fixed itself

    hey WiLo, I did my method of posting (twice, different threads) and it seemed to work ok without the doubling effect it had everywhere else. but sometimes after that it doubled and sometimes even tripled. strange shit...

    SILII, I had the same probs... thread updates weren't working / being linked back to the home forum from whence they came and the email notifications didn't work either most likely because of the above point... lack of the thread being updated to the home forum meant no emails to send out. but yes, the posts were there if you closed your browser and restarted it, or just opened a new tab to access Toymods. too weird...

    it's been a completely random problem which seems to be load/access-based (hits to the server) being at night during peak times.

    sounds to me like the server needs a clean-out of the Gremlins inside it.

    Timbo-sore-arse (hehe) and myself has a similar thing happening last Friday night/Saturday morning on Sleepin22's KE20 thread...

    It was freaky as... We both wrote 2 or 3 messages that would show as being posted in the Last Post part, but would not show up in the thread at all... After a little while they appeared and you could see what we wrote...

    I think somebody needs to phone Mulder and Scully...
