Cooloola Car Club Motorkhana Event 16th Sptember 07

Hey all, thought you guys and girls would like to be involved again ... since we have missed you at the last event or 2 ....

I have added a link to the forum for you to be able to download an entry form and read all the chat about this event and previous ones.

There is a new President who just so happens to be a Toyota MR2 driver .... his name is Dean. I have stepped asideand am actually heading down to Victoria to get more involved in motorsports there.

I won't be at this event, however I do plan to be there for the November event, which is a planned 2 day Motorkhana.

Thanks for all of your support over the last 3 or more years ... and i look forward to seeing you all in November .... and seeing pics from your September event.

good to hear its still on for september. I'm still planning to enter that one.
will the mr2 driver president be entering the event as well?

If its the guy i know.. only like 2 mr2's in Gympie and AFAIK only one with an owner named Dean, yeah any way, i dont think it will be in the event, he's doin it up atm, creating a monster from what i've heard

Yeah, the same bloke ..... lol.

Will be a great opportunity for him to fully focus on running the event this time around with Robert, then he should be right for the 2 day event in November .....

Well I've got my entry in for this, will be cruising up there with a Sigma, Datsun 1600, ke55, and a 180sx.

on one of the confusing layouts I got a wrong-direction, if it wasn't for that, I might have been in for a trophy, as I was doing ok the rest of the day

Was a pretty fun day overall though - good to see a few interesting toyotas in it, and they were new-comers afaik
