    Default HR12 Air Con refrigerant

    Well as the weather is heating up I've decided it's time to get the air con regassed and working. I decided to do a bit of reading on what's involved in the process so I know what I'm paying for exactly and came across this stuff, it seems like a pretty good option to me after reading their pdf and has the bonus of not needing to "retrofit" the system with r134a and run the risk of frying the compressor.

    Has anyone had any experience with it or know anyone who deals with installing this stuff?

    There was some talk of this in this thread.
    My opinion on it is posted in there. Do yourself a favour and have a look at the video I link to in my second post in that thread. It shows what happened when they tried to prove how "safe" it is.
