    Default 1jz pinouts/haltech interceptor

hey, i'm putting a haltech interceptor in my car and the haltech wiring diagram is a little off.

on the 16 pin plug, labled "W" on the diagram, it says I intercept a yellow/red wire, but there is no yellow/red wire and the wire that corresponds to the diagram is green/black.
also on the 16 pin plug, i tap into a yellow wire, but the wire corresponding is white/red.

on the12 pin plug labeled "X" i am supose to intercept both an orange and white wires but they are next to the wires that the diagram tells me. where the diagram tell me i should intercept there are blue/green (orange) and blue/yellow (white)

i have wired it according to the pinouts but i still hit boost cut, something the interceptor is spose to cancel.

i also tried wiring the "X" plug on the colour codes, and it ran but had a stumble at around 3500rpm

    cheers for any help

thanks to shane (endless) for this:

it appears that my wiring is right and haltech's claims of it removing fuel cut means you need to remove fuel first.

also when i attached to the orange and white wires, i was getting cam position instead of crank, which was why it was firing funny

So you ended up going off pins not colours right? colours seem to vary a lot but pins are safe.

It won't remove fuel cut, it will raise it. Unless you run it REALLY lean. ie. don't do that

Definitely go according to the pins and not colours. You have a diagram there which should make things easier.

You have an auto or manual?

Are you running a base map or have you tuned it? On the base map nothing is changed so you still have boost cut, speed cut etc...

Mine seems to be leaning out at around 2500rpm just before coming on boost and then its fine after that.... so no idea whats caused that, im gonna reload the base map as i set up the throttle points and it might be that... ive just gotta get it tuned now...

Also when we wired mine up none of the colours matched up we just went by pin position... everything was showing up when real time monitoring it.

yeah, i went with the pin positions. i'm using the base map at the moment, having it tuned on tuesday. hopefully it isnt boosting so hard that pulling fuel out still wont get rid of the cut.
haltech tell me that it only removes fuel cut on cars with AFM's AND MAP sensors where it is tuned off the AFM and the MAP sensor is only for things like fuel cut etc.

    car is auto
