Default 1JZ VVTI Air condition Compressor?

Does anyone know if the 2JZ-GE air con compressor from a supra can be bolted up on the 1JZ VVTi from a chaser.

Most JZ compressors appear to be interchangeable, at least in their mounting setup.
The caveats are pulley size, body size, hose fittings. Aristo compressors appear to be larger in diameter, which puts the top plate higher up and closer to the power steering pump, potentially causing clearance issues. Not sure about atmo 2JZs...
So the answer is quite possibly, but you'd probably have to try it.

i put a JZA80 NA compressor on my GTE aristo motor. i swapped the aristo top plate onto it. the 'top plate' appears to be interchangeable for most JZ compressors. the pulley size was different but the tensioner was able to take up the difference.
