i have to say i liked the idea of transferring the gear into an already AWD or RWD though would be the safer and less $ model ?

Ah-hem - 4WD please, 'AWD' is just a marketing term.

It's been done in Europe and the guy had a turbo on both ends and something like 700hp.

4wd...awd same shit but the earlier is commonly a landcruiser or hilux.

seen that thing its got 2 4ag's in it putting out 360hp each, its definately a nutter but i think you would have issues with it on the track handling wise. could be sorted out but would be a major pita.

awd ae82 is doable but why when there are SO many other more desireable cars on the market?

i was talking to my relative from toyota (last night) and he said its one crazy job to do, he was explaining it to me, and i thought... ok how about rear wheel drive...

do you think its worth it though?

Well, if you can't tell the difference, it's probably best to think about simpler ideas for the time being... AWD Corolla is of similiar silliness to my thoughts of doing a RWD Avalon someday - something that IS doable, but not affordable unless you can fabricate it yourself. Or you're an Arab with an oil tap in the backyard...

Or keep an eye out for any grey import 4wd corollas for sale. They are very rare; but they do appear in the classifieds. I have a stock 2.0 litre diesel CE104 4wd 5sp sedan which I am thinking about dropping another engine in. Wouldn't mind rallying the car in the near future as a N/A 2.0 litre with a Blacktop BEAMS dropped in. Still researching the amount of work needed for the conversion; or I may drop a Blacktop 4AGE in, a bit easier. I have a friendly mechanic and workshop available to me to help.

not much mabye 125-130kws got dynod at toymods dyno day got 117.5kws with cracked charger outlet leaking off boost.
