    Default Can anyone PLEASE help me? rewire fuel pump

    Howdy guys, need all of use help if use can.

    can anyone tell me how to rewire a fuel pump and if i need relays and other stuff?

    the car is a GZ20 with 1JZ

    any help will be awesome.

    Whats wrong with your existing setup? or are you installing a new setup?

    cant find the old wires going behide the glove box but if anyone knows that be great. just saves me time to rewire a new one.

    so i thought i might as make a new wiring for it but not to sure how and what to use

    Check if you have an black and yellow relay with "open circuit relay' written on it. That would have the old fuel pump wires going into it. on my 3sgte and 4age the relay was mounted on my ECU.

    There is also a dedicated Fuel Pump Relay on some cars. It is connected to the Circuit Open Relay, as on my 1GGZE install.

    The power to the pump is usally a blue wire.

    Consult a wiring diagram and/or TSRM. Shouldnt be hard to trace your existing circuit and graft it in. Fuel pumps should never be run solely off a circuit opening relay. Use a seperate relay to supply power to the fuel pump(s).

    GZ20 ... Blue Wire Red Trace leaving the 'Circuit Opening Relay'

    should red 12volts+ on a multimeter when you turn the key to Start.
