maybe check on nissansilvia.com to see whether stock s13 wheels will fit over s14 brakes... surely someone on there would have tried it.
Howdy. Just finished the S13 suspension conversion on my AE86, and am running S14 rotors and calipers, and with the S14 calipers being a fair bit chunkier than the S13 and obviously shite-loads more than stock AE86 items, my Superlites don't go anywhere close to clearing the calipers which I knew would be the case, I also tried some Sigma GSR rims and they don't fit either.
So does anybody know what wheel would fit nicely over them, S14 stock rims would but I had the rotors re-drilled to 4-stud so there goes that idea, I was thinking S13 rims would clear maybe.
To fit, the rim would need to have a pretty flat face and/or spoke setup, with the stud plate being recessed into the wheel, if you get what I mean, sort of like these rims below.
Anybody got any ideas? Cheers, Daniel.![]()

Also might be a good idea to check what offsets the Nissans run. That'll give you a better idea of what cars to try some wheels from. I remember trying a set of (aftermarket) rims off a 180sx and they were around +35 and fit perfectly on the 180. Needed about a 15-20mm spacer to fit properly on a sprinter though.
Eddie.
4agte finally completed. 234rwkw @ 8125rpm. Tis fun
T has it correct, stock S13 wheels need approx 20mm spacers to sit correctly on an AE86. Without them, the wheels will rub on the front.
Just measure how much X-factor you need (distance from the mounting face to the back of the spokes) and check wheels until you find a good set. The Nissan boys should be good for suggestions though.

:O arent our rims the same brand? different design so i hope mine wil fit with the S14 calipers, from my rough measure through the rims while on the car it looks like it might.
Is the S14 stuff 280 or 296mm?
If its 280mm then stock MX73 rims fit no problems.
