    Default Toyota Part Number Request

Hi all, I'm in a bit of a sticky atm trying to source a gasket for my turbo. My local Toyota people refuse to even look up the part unless I give them the VIN, which I don't have as turbo is off a Starlet and I've got a Corolla.

So I was wondering if anyone knows/has the EPC to check the part number for me.

I need an exhaust side gasket for a CT9 Turbo from a EP82 4E-FTE. It is the one that sits between the turbo exhaust housing and the downpipe.

Failing that, since I'm using a custom downpipe, the internal shape my be too small for my needs so I technically need a custom gasket. I tried using Manifoldite but it didn't last 2 months (got burnt up by the heat). Anyone know of an alternative?

    i ahve attached 2 pictures.

is the gasket you are after the one highlighted in the zoomed in pic 17279?

if not, look at the big pic and circle the one you are after. just making sure i dont give you the wrong part number

    if it is that 17279 the p/n is 17279 - 11010

and thats for an EP82 with a 4E-FTE

did you try contacting castle hill toyota and asking them? often they will be a bit more helpful if you tell them the motor is out of, in your case, a EP82 but thats all you know coz its in something else...

The one I want is indeed 17279 - 11010, thank you, it's much appreciated. +rep

I tried my local Toyotas here in Adelaide (Northpoint and CMI) as they usually stock what I want. If I give them the part # that should help.

    Thanks again.
