    Thanks.

I thought the st185 twin caliper and the ae101 superstrut twin were the same caliper? I could be wrong, just what i had put together in my head possibly, pretty sure pads are listed the same as sw20 turbo? And the st185 disc is used in the conversion... hmm, you mentioned early there, and a 258mm rotor, i was under the impression they were a 278mm disc?? You have to machine the diameter of them down to ~263mm for the conversion...

    Sorry for the OT!

i know the early sw20's had a twin piston caliper.. i coudlnt tell you disc size although i know early sw20's were fitted with 14" wheels so it is more then possible they fit on the 258 rotors as much bigger nad you wont get them under 14".

the celica twins ive got fit under aw11 14" stock wheels just fine.. tight but fine.

ive got them on a 258x22mm rotor and its a perfect fitment. (aw11 factory size rotor)

the superstrut ones might be a different rotor and caliper moun ting braket putting them furter out but the same pad ? i know the later model st185 single piston calipers use a 278mm rotor.

ive never seen a set of superstrut ones so i really couldnt say. that said if you look up in the project mu catalogue it should give you a part number plus a printout of the pad shape you can compare.

That clears it up enough for me. Didn't realise there was different size brakes early vs late st185. And probably same calipers, different mounting.

I think he means different mounting to AE101/111 superstrut hubs vs ST185 hubs...

    Correct. Sorry for the ambiguity.

well either that or different brackets. remember the bracket that mates the caliper onto the hub can be removed from the caliper itself so its plasible that the caliper is the same but the brakect is different and the hubs could have same/similar mounting properites.
