    Default Oil sump questions

Just curious as to a few things about the oil sump seeing that my motor is now some bastardised hybrid of soarer, supra and aristo parts.

When they say the soarer needs the soarer sump (be it front, mid or rear, can someone confirm?) does that mean just the sump, as in the black metal part with the plug? Or does that mean the entire alloy spacer plate that bolts to the bottom of the block?

I'd really like to have the motor comlete prior to removing my current one, but seeing as I only have the plates from an aristo 2j, and a supra 1j, I'm starting to think that this may not happen :/

    Anyone?!?

I've heard rumours that the jzz30 and jza70 sump setups are the same, can anyone confirm this?

what car do you want to fit the 1j to? a chassis code would be nice and get alot more responses

you need both the alloy part and steeel pan from the same style (not to mention baffles and pickup)

    cheers

    Oops, my bad!

I've got a JZZ30 soarer, and a 2J bottom end in the build.
