That part is the rear main lower control arm from an AW11 MR2.
It's 35cm (13.5in), but I need a wishbone the same, but longer.
Approximately 440mm (~17.3in)would be great.
SV21 camry's have a similar lower control arm at the front but it's about 40mm shorter.
I suspect wide body modded MR2's or later model Camry's might have what I'm after.
Any help would be appreciated.

i think i have an answer for you
soarer/supra rear suspension has control arm just like that, and eyeballing it, id say it would be about 450mm long... see pic
this big bonus is - i know where one is currently sitting... I pulled the diff out of the subframe today. I can measure the one under the supra later tonight/tomorrow if you like and see what it is exactly.
do you need 2? only one is available off that soarer

Even one would be great, but from that pic, it looks like it doesnt have a verticallly mounted balljoint - it looks like a horizontal bush.
Can you confirm?
youre right, horizontal ball joint... my bad
close though!!

The widebody camry V6 i did a engine refit on had a lower wishbone, 2 chassis pickups, so you can rule that out.
Subframes kick ass when you change a whole engine, not cool when you ony have to do a clutch tho.
And looking at my epc, the sw20 has a similar arm.

The spanner in my avatar is actually a 16mm, that's why it's still new
Seems it might not exist at all - went wandering around a couple of wreckers at lunch.
Any AW11 owners care to do some measurements?
The one I have is from an AW11, but there was supposed to have been a suspension overhaul on the AW11. I'm hoping the other one was longer.
there was a suspensionj change in 86. although they did change the length of the arms iirc but not that much .
Yeah, I agree with Toof that I think you will find that there is a long and short version of that lower control arm for AW11's... Just be sure to check you are going to get the right one.
I reckon you could get one from toyota still.... if you've got the bucks ????
Or try find someone whos used an AW11 halfcut for a ZE conversion... that part would not be (re)used very often... there should be some laying around out there somewhere.

Chop and weld would be the easiest way about it. Not hard at all to do, done it for control arms on rally cars before. the you box it up with plate steel to give strength. If you really are stuck, i will be more and happy to do it for you if you pay for postage both ways and maybe $20 for me to do it! Im in canberra.
