For the 20mins or so it will take to change all the values to being closer to what he needs, I don't see any other option as something even worth considering.
I've had to do it before with my ecu. I wen't from 215cc injectors to 440cc injectors.
Sat there for about 20mins in the passengers seat with the lappie on, and went through and halved every single injector pulse value.
Also made less work for the dyno operator as it was closer to what it needed to be.
Had I just done the fuel trim by +100% he'd have to sit there and change all the values. (yes, Microtech sucks when you change injectors, luckily you rarely do it more than once)
