A 13T is a 1.8 nearly identical to a 3T.

i have a ta22 celica manufactured on the 12/1972 does not have have rear flat lights tho
on the engine block it says the following:

13T
can someone pls tell if the engine is 3t 1.8 or 2t 1.6 even though it does say 13t on the block
also if the if its worth replacing my existing 2t motor
just need some clarification

the 2t actually makes more power (but less torque) than the 13t
Both the 13t and the 3t are a 85/78 bore/stroke and 9:1 compression, so I'd take a guess that the pistons are interchageable (nb: GUESS)
I had a 3T in my TA22 many years ago, and a friend had an identical TA22 with a 2T in it. In any race we were always neck and neck, the 3T just didn't have any more power despite its larger capacity. IMO it's not worth swapping, especially not the 13T which is the light truck version of the 3T.

13T I pulled part had horrible looking emissions crap in the head and funny pistons, Would not consider it an upgrade at all.
