Default Toyota Odd Upgrades (TOU#) with other Marque Parts

Alright, given the other TIO thread i thought it would be time to list the somewhat odder upgrades for different Toyotas.
This thread is dedicated to bolt on upgrades to Toyotas using parts from other Marque cars.

    To start us off:
    * Mitsubishi Starion master cylinders fit on AE86 brake boosters and just need the brake line to be bent. They are a 15/16th dia as well.
    * Nissan R32 GTST/GTR master cylinders also fit on AE86s, and are either 1" or 1 1/16". These also come in some other large nissan, possibly a 4wd as the guy who i bought my Starion MC off had upgraded to the Nissan variant.
    * BA Falcon Rotors, with R33 GTST calipers bolt up to MX83s for a cheapish brake upgrade (thanks to Southo and Norbs for that one).

Im sure that there are others, but i cant think of them right now.

Diahatsu EFI alternator fits the 3SGTE quite well.

The top bracket needs to be modified but the bottom mount is perfect, and belts line up nicely.

The diahatsu alternator is also rumored to be one of the few that are rated to some crazy RPM. Small compact unit too.

    I'm running this on mine.

Mazda RX7 FC pads are a close fit to the Hilux 4 spot calipers.

Gives a much better range of pads to choose from!

yeah WRX and 200SX pads are a different part number to those used in the hilux calipers but can be used and offer a HUGE selection of brands/compounds.

im using a honda altenator on my 4agze. cant remember the model may have been prelude. but its IDENTICAL. bolts straight on, belt lines up, even the plugs are sweet.

sigma lower control arms fit most toyota's with macpherson strut, (80's s) to give more track, and a bit of neg camber as well.

all that needs doing is the inner sleeve on the inner bush needs grinding, about 3mm taken off, so it fits in the crossmember.

early Galant (GA/GD) non-boosted master cylinders will fit with a little filing of holes into KE10 corollas..
the early ones have same 11/16" bore, but are twin circuit, and the later are a 3/4" bore and also twin circuit.. one is alloy and one is iron, but i can't remember which...
makes for an easy safety upgrade for the dodgy original single circuit.

Ford falcon XF 60 Amp alternators can have the rotor and stator used in KE70 Bosch alternators... bumping it up from 30-40A to 60A, perfect or EFI upgrades to K series motors.. you use the KE70 front and rear housing, but the regulator is identical. it makes the whole thing about 5mm longer, so you need to find longer bolts to hold the alt together, and make a small spacer at the rear mount to the bracket on the block.

Holden HQ discs and rotors bolt straight up to xt130 Corona struts as they use the same wheel bearings.

Commodore master cylinders bolt up to KE30 breake booster. Advantage is the bigger bore (15/16") but disadvantage is the need to make a second line for the front brakes.

I am led to belive the earlier Falcon (pre XC) master cylinders also bolt up and have a 1" bore.

300ZX/Skyline front calipers bolt on to most Toyota's, with very little or no adaptors.

FYI 300ZX/Skyline front pads are same as 200SX/WRX as pointed above.

S13 Silvia rims are a good place to look for people needed to upgrade rims to clear above brakes.
Anything below +35 offset will fit.

Lotus Esprit Turbos used AE86 tail lights. Not USDM ones, but full height jobbies, like the ones i have on my car.

There's also another early 80's Lotus (can't remember the name) which shares a lot of parts with the MA61 Supra, including door handles, tail lights, 14x7 alloys, F series LSD and (I think) IRS suspension. Toyota owned a controlling stake in Lotus back then so there was a lot of parts sharing going on.
