    Default thread format

is this the format for threads that will be used? as in newest posts to the top? personally i prefer the new replies down the bottom.

also ive noticed that the user name and avatar is above the post rather than to the left. is this intentional?

In the User CP you can select how you like the order to show

either newest to oldest or olders to newest

The layout side of things in terms of the user name etc will be getting changed. At the moment the aim is to stest and verify the functionality to make sure everything works.

So by default did the listing for both of you guys have the newest reply at the top of the thread?

I left the forum title thing available so that people could set it how they like. This is going to be one of the contentious things. I want the club members to be able to be identified by that but I also want club members to have the option to change it.

The difficulty then is that if you allow anyone other than club members to change the titles they can just set it to Toymods Car Club Member. We can censor words for the titles but this censors them for the defaults as well.

What do people think about the customisable titles. Obviously it is open to abuse and if that happens it may end up that we have to turn it off.

Email notification I think will stay as a default but the listing order needs to change. I'll go and check that out now.

Logging out works fine for me.

The signatures are limmited for number of characters and as per the rules you agree to on sign up for overall size.

There isn't an option for moderating avatars which is a pain. It's going to have to just be done manually. If people are too retarded to have a decent avatar they don't get to have an avatar. One of the things about this is we can setup a new group that you have to promote to based on post credability before you can have an avatar, then if someone posts a bad avatar people can give bad reputation feedback and in theory bump them back to a lower user group that does not have rights to using avatars.

I don't like the idea of people being able to change their User Title. It's open to abuse.

Same with the unmoderated avatars. That's just trouble, especially judging from the number of pornographic and animated avatars that we have to decline.
