    Danny, is it giving you any more codes?? they can give you more than one. And running really roughly is better than running for 5 sec and dying... hence why I said it ran better. Double and triple check that you dont have a cam a tooth out also... that will give headaches.

    nope no more codes just 52.. does show 23 and 31 when afm is disconnected.. will check timing, and hopefully i can try my afm on somebodys car to see if its stuffed or not.. thanks for your help ra23

    im positive that the knock sensor is not causing your problems. They arent too expensive to replace about $120 is trade price from an efi place, from toyota its just over 200 i got mine from AFI in Peakhurst its still a denzo product so its the same as the genuine from toyota.
