    Default sunroof removal on st162

    hey

I'm trying to take off my sunroof so i can get to the screws that hold the interior trim in place because one side has come off. Does anyone have any ideas where to start? I'm going to just undo all the bolts i can get to with the sunroof up and see what happens, but if anyone has some specific ideas please let me know.

I'm sorry if this has been covered in another thread, i did search but nothing showed up quickly.

    Thanks
    Mikie

im pretty sure you have to take the roof lining off and then the necessary bolts will become exposed, its been so long since i owned my 162, so hopefully i can get some confirmation on this for you!

black77: the haynes manual hardly even mentions a sunroof let alone how to pull one out.
rp: i was hoping i wouldn't have to do that. I think i'll head over to a wreckers and rip a roof apart and see.

Cheers for the suggestions. If anyone has taken a sunroof out please post. Any help is appreciated.
