Looks like an old Karman Vortex AFM?
IIRC, they were used on the early 1UZ's.
Just picked up a 1uz engine package and the afm looks different to the other 1uz's i'v had or seen. Can anyone confirm it's a 1uz afm.

Not Karmann Vortex (can we please not state things unless we're sure without indicating said uncertainty).

Most of the information you need is here:

The MAF pictured is a hot wire type.
The VVTi 1UZ has this type of MAF. I don't know which versions of the non-VVTi have this but if I had to guess I'd say it's likely to be the newer 95-97 versions but have no way of confirming this. An EPC lookup would solve it if you either took a photo in focus or posted the part number
Note that with this style of hot wires MAF the airflow distribution is important for correct metering, so you need to be careful with your choice of filter and air inlet design to make sure the airflow is laminar - turbulent flow will not meter correctly. People with Altezzas who replace the factory airbox with a cone filter more often than not experience this problem.
