    Default 4A-G & 4A-F cams

    Hi all,
I was looking at the Web Cams website (and when I googled it I got a whole pile of crap about web cameras and "view pillow fighting co-eds now"), and I noticed that in their listings, 4AG & 4AF cams were in the same section and so I assume interchangeable.
So if they are interchangeable, does anyone know what cam profiles a 4A-F has from factory? Especially compared to a 4A-GE's?
If it is possible, it could end up being a cheap way to get a 4A-FE moving without engine swaps and computer hassels, especially if I end up putting new cams in my 4A-GE, the old ones could go into the other half's AE94 sedan.
    Thanks for any info,
    Jon.

4age and 4age cams work completely different, 4age cams are driven off camwheels, where as 4afe cams are driven off a single cam via scissor gears, knowing this I can't see how they could possibly interchange and would also imagine the profiles to be pretty different considering 4age's are a wide angle head vs the 4afe narrow economy head

And the inlet cam on a F head rotates in the oposite direction to the exhaust, while a G head rotates the same way...
I'm tired, should have thought of that...
But I wonder why they have them listed in the same section...

Actually they have... They DO know the 4AF cams are scissor drive. If you look carefully at their listing

That pretty much acknowledge(back handedly, or poorly, I'll admit) that AF is different from AG. They offer "all" the AG grinds for 4AF cams.... I've only recommended their 294 grind for the 4AF... but Bob might know if Webs other cams can be used... he has built a 240+hp 4AF already...... I doubt he has used Web cams... but he'd know if high lifts and long durations would be successful or not????

Oops, missed that. Sleep deprivation will do that!
What profile cams do a 4A-F run anyway?
Wonder if there's difference to 5/6/7A-F cams.
As in I wonder if an hour at the wreckers and a day at home would result in a nicer 4A-FE? (Okay, stop laughing!)
I guess Billzilla's late 7A-F head/4A-G block hybrid idea shows there is some merit to reasearch into these heads...
