Friday 31st is my vote (gives me a chance to get an LSD in before then)
Hi,
Well the Poll has finished and Friday 31st of August has won in a landslide victory. Put it in your diary, get your leave applications in, tell your probation officer you'll be out of town etc.
This is just a general "No Speed Limit" Wakefield Track day i.e. it is open to anyone. Being an open day it may have very few cars or it may have many, you don't know until you get there.
All the info for anyone who hasn't been before can be found here:
http://www.wakefieldpark.com.au
It's $100 for the day plus $50 for an annual licence if you don't have one (a valid CAMS licence negates the need to purchase a Wakefield licence).
As we discovered last time, passengers are allowed but they must have paid the full $100 drivers fee for the day (and hold a Wakefield licence).
A roadworthy car will ensure you have a fun time
NOTE: A number of people are planning to stay at the 'Pelican' located next door to Wakefield Park on the Friday night for brews and socialising. Post your interest if you're keen and you will be added to the list:
Dylan
Nathan
Ness
Matt
Update: As there are a few people heading up for the day from Canberra we might as well kick off the social side of the day by having anyone who is keen to drive up together meet at the Shell Gateway Service station (located at the EPIC entrance).
In order to be at Wakefield Park by 8:30am at the latest we will need to meet at Shell at 7:30am and leave by 7:40am. Anyone who wants to just meet at the track we will see you there.
Cheers.
