Just when I thought I was going to have some fun, I've gone and spoiled it by accepting an offer on the racecar.

To cut a long story short, I put it up for sale Tuesday morning thinking it would be like my last racecar, which took over a year and a half to finally sell.

Two guys came and looked at it, and I accepted a very good offer from someone today. I told him about my August 31st track day but he wants the car tomorrow so it's gone (and I have no racecar )

My apologies to all who PMd me about rides. I had to make a decision and it was an offer too good to refuse. Plus it went to a really nice guy who will look after it and really make it a "weapon" in 2008.

    Cheers,

Was just about to ask you whether you were still a starter!!

If its gone to who I think it has, it will be a weapon indeed if his current 'ride' is anything to go by!

You have exactly three weeks to procure yourself another racecar infotechplus Otherwise we will have to assume that your posted pictures of the R100 & Civic were simply stolen from Google Images

    So

How do we put our names down? Through the website or through someone organising it? My GTE needs the cobwebs blown out, etc. I want in! Just enough time for me to get leave (3 weeks)

I should also mention im a semi pro photographer and if you want photos let me know, I dont mind getting a few snaps(tight telephoto digital pics that you can print large and be proud of), can organise on the day though.

just show up on the day. It's an open speed limit day for the general public. You just need to pay your cash and sign forms and you're away

Andy, its $100 for the day, plus $50 annual fee for a Wakefield licence if you haven't raced there before. No need for a cams licence.

Hi Peter, would have been great to see the Honda getting around the track but it is good news to hear you sold it so easy and hassle free.

Did you happen to sell all your Kuhmo V700 tyres with it?? If not I may be interested in purchasing a couple.

Andyroo, as already mentioned. Any quality shots of the cars would be great.

I don't think i'll have the sprinter sorted, so I'll bring up the SLR (camera) and take some pic's for people. I've got the day off. So no need to chuck a sicky! yay!

Sounding like a great day, more and more tempted to take the day off and come to do some testing. Might see how I go at Wakefield this weekend, then make a decision next week.

Be great if you can make it Dave.

Out of interest, what have you got on this weekend at Wakefield?

Justin, pity the Sprintah won't be ready but it'd be good to see you there.
