Default 1JZ Tubes + Plug Points (Intake Side)

I need to plug everything back in but im kind of doing it blind.

Does anyone have photos/ location points of where all the plug points are for the rest of my loom? theres about 5 plugs i havent plugged into the block yet and i cant see where they go so im kind of feeling around blind.

Also im not sure i have all the tubing into the intake done correctly, theres a few tubes and stuff not plugged in and im not sure if theyre in the right places or not.

Theres also a loose tube that im not sure where to plug in that comes off the end of the fuel rail (looks like a small regulator thingy on the end of it, one large tube channels fuel back into the return line, but its the small tube coming off the top of it that i dont know where it goes..)

    help.. *sheepish look*

The last one goes to the second port on your inlet manifold. You want that connected if you don't want to run lean.

good-o rep for you! so its a vacuum line...

ok these are the last 4 plugs i have left to go in, cant work out where they go.. i hate feeling around blind! ive got both front and rear knock sensors in now as well as a few other plugs..

what are these, and more importantly where do they go (and is this whats stopping the car from starting - ?

this is near the front behind the aircon pump

and these 3 are near the back near the starter motor

But from your description, if they are near the starter motor could they possibly go to the transmission? Hard to see from the pics.

The last photo (single wire black plug) is your starter signal wire, thats what puts a 12v signal to the starter telling it to crank over.

The second to last photo (two pin white plug) plugs into your heater bypass valve (the junction box on the passenger side of firewall that heater hose runs into and then out to engine)...

The other big white plug, no idea sorry...

Apparently I was advertising in my signature, where I just thought I was helping out others... so if you want to know how to get more steering lock in your A70/Z20 Supra/Soarer, you'll just have to search, don't ask me, apparently I'm not allowed to tell you.

Best things to check down there are heater switch, starter motor, gbox reverse wire, knock sensor (will be hidden on the block somewhere), make sure both your cam sensors are plugged in (yes, the 1jz has 2), inlet temp sensor.... I'm running out of ideas, but you get the idea

see if your reverse lights come on when reverse is selected. if not, the longest wire will be your reverse switch

There is some pics of the 1JZ engine outside a car if you need to see where things go from the various angles. Downloaded them off various sites and threads over the years, one might be handy

first one is just a single wire push on connector isnt it? probably one of the two knock sensors...

second one has been disconnected in my engine bay forever, thought it was for ABS or japanese emissions that would have been removed at compliance.

the 3rd one, loonie is right. definatly plugs into the heater tap control unit. It should have a black bottom half of the plug.
