Default ra23 with a haltec with plans

hey all, i have my ra23 currently running a 18rgeu, with a haltec e6, now i wanna put a 1ggte in it and was thinking will a haltec run the 1g, what would i have to do to hook it up, do i use the 1g loom or do i use the haltec loom and sensors and hook them up to the 1g. i m confused because really if i use the haltec, loom and sensors, i will not have to spend the money on a auto sparky to wire it up, just have to get the haltec re tuned. please help me to decide, its either a 1g with the haltec or stock ecu, or just turbo my 18rgeu

    what model E6?

1G option would require: modify haltec loom to drive 6 injectors, change idle to Ford/Bosch 2 wire PWM valve, require to suit ignitor, re-tune and do skids. So unless you feel confident doing your own electrics then you are still going to need a sparky before tuning.

all three options require a fair amount of fabrication work (zorst & FMIC for the 18RG, Zorst, FMIC and mounts for the 1G) - how much or little work do you want to do.

Also, the 18RGUE will need compression lowering if you want to shove boost into it (well more than just a handful of psi of boost)

Haltech will run a 1G no worries, it's just a matter of adapting your existing loom to the new engine (extra injectors plus the CAS) then re-tune and away you go. Should be pretty easy if you can follow a wiring diagram and know how to join/solder wires.
