Default 4age in KE70. fuel system queries.

Hi everyone, I have a bigport 4age in my ke70 that is not running at the moment.

I'm sorting the fuel system out and my question is: Will the 1/4" (6.3mm) steel feed line be suitable to run the 4age? (it is N/A and staying N/A)

Obviously i am replacing the rubber hosing with EFI rated hose. My other question was: The fuel return to tank steel line is 4mm odd size. If the feed line size of 6.3mm is ok, should i swap return line aswell and run it the same size as the feed line too? (6.3mm)

Does the return to tank line need to be efi rated hose to? I'm assuming its not needed because the return to tank is low pressure..

    thanks

6.3 will be ok for feed. the 4mm might be ok for return, but might be a good idea to run a pressure gauge at idle, or even witht he engine not running, to see if the pressure creeps up.
    you could swap anyway tho.

the return doesn't need to be EFI rated, but if you are buying some anyway..... a tiny safety margin if say.. the return to the tank gets blocked... but no, not actually needed

speaking from experience, those hose sizes are fine (6mm feed, 4mm return)

as OC says, you might as well rpelace the return line too while you are there, i did and othing has caught on fire yet, you have to usa an adaprot to go from the std 6mm return to the 4mm return anyway, so jus tspend the extra 10 bucks at enzed/whatever

Thanks very much for your input guys. 1st hand experience is always good to hear.

so 4mm return is ok then? Because there is a 3rd line running to the charcoal canister, which is 6mm. i was thinking of swapping these around and using that as the return line.

    sorry to hijack

but would all this still be applicable for a 20V Turbo?
or would i have to upgrade all lines to something bigger?
