drop the ecu on the floor of the car and test a few things

put the multimeter in resistance mode and check the continuity of the wires going from the ecu to the igniter plug.

i once got a code 14 and no spark because a wire had fallen out of the igniter plug

aight guys did heeps of work 2day
tsted so many things
wats wierd is that wen i crank it over i get a flash for injector pulse but then it never comes back
so after about 2-3 hrs of testin heeeeps of stuff so far we have come down to the decision it could be the crank angle sensor which in the 1g's is located i the dizzy, which is a bummer cause ive tested both dizzy's ,,, so could both be duds
so went n got antoher dizzy and will test tomoz!!!

Don't bank on it being the cam angle sensor. They are shit, but they are also reliable with a standard ecu...

It sounds more to me like there's a relay (thinking the FPR style thing) that's stopping it from firing. an oscilliscope would dothe job.

im pretty sure the ecu will cut fuel if there is no sparking for about 3 revolutions. more inbuilt safety mechanisms

my bet is the wiring between the CAS and ECU - i'd do some connectivity checks between the CAS and the ECU

The wire(s) from the CS should be 4 wires in a sheilded cable - if you've discnnected the earth in that bundle you'll get no signals from the CAS at all. The shield wrapping those 4 wires up is earthed near the ECU only - if you earth both ends, it stops protexting those signals from noise.

dragging up an old thread. I have the same problem once the car is warm- if I turn it off and try to start again I get no spark. I also have a miss, Any Ideas?

mine ended up been the ignighter man
wen i tried a new ignighter i didnt bolt it on i just plugged it in the first time and therefore it didnt ground
so u gotta bolt it or put it on sumthing metal to ground it to work
but it dont sound like your problem

ok so that means new ignitor or ecu?
I also found my o2 sensor is flashing red and not getting power.

code 14 means the ecu isn't getting the right signals from igniter. generally this means a connection is poor. try the connectors for connection first, earth on igniter wiring etc. if it's not there try an alternate igniter.
i haven't heard of an ecu failing this far down track.
