****CANCELLED**** TOYOTA FEST 2007 - DRAG RACING!!! - Wed 3rd Oct 6pm

As part of the annual Toyota Fest pilgrimage, Toymods will once again be inviting all the people who attend the Sunday event (and anyone unfortunate enough to miss it) to an evening of heads up drag racing at WSID. Last year we had a huge turnout, with plenty of interstate travellers. With a similar turnout expected we will look at organising our own lane for some grudge match racing!!!!

When: Wednesday 3rd October, 6pm - 10pm.
Where: Western Sydney International Dragway (WSID), Eastern Creek.
What: Drag Racing!
Why: Give everyone a reason to get their car running!
Cost: $15 for spectators and $45 for competitors.

As per the normal street meet rules, you will require:

- Helmet
- Drivers license
- Long sleeve shirt and long pants (might be an idea to look at the toymods racing shirts )

Gates open at 5pm and racing starts at 6pm until 10pm, so if you're racing make sure you get in early, it's not unheard of to be turned away at 6pm because there were too many cars.

But if you're not racing, bring a jumper because it may get cool (depending on the weather). We will determine who will be on the hill in the coming weeks and if someone wants to come along and you're not sure of who people are, drop myself or someone on the board a PM. We shall give you some contact details of who to call on the night to catch up.

Otherwise, just follow the line of modified toyotas in the pits.

I will be at the gates at 5pm for scrutineering, so feel free to come early as someone will be there.

If we have a large enough interstate attendance, we may even look at organising a meeting point and cruise to WSID before the event.

This was a HUGE week last year and one that plenty of people regret missing out on. Don't be the one who regrets missing it this year! Hope to see everyone there for the big event!
