pit crew can go up to the car while it is fully staged to say, pull the tag/pin out for the parachute.

usually there are a fare few people over near the wall, and they stay there most of the night, so there might be a different band?

I noticed that those rules are farely old and havnt been updated since the end of 2005 atleast.

Nope, On a street meet, you wont be allowed anywhere near the start line. All the Pit Crew pass gets for you is, Ability to go UNder the tunnel of the building, to the rear of the left lane where they have a boundary setup!

Only Andra cars with Chutes can have the Pit crew follow the vehicle to the start line for safety reasons and the fact they have to remove the pin from the chute.

Only Certified Photographers with Media passes can get next to the staging lanes and the walls to shoot.

I work part time for one of the photographers that will be there, so i know the rules.

And NO. You can just rock up on the night and get a Media Pass. You have to have it pre arranged with John and you have to be supplying a magazine or company with the photos. This is to stop ANY Joe Blow from taking pics and trying to sell them, when the porfessionals out there are doing their work.

I wont be able to make the event! Short on funds atm and saving for an EMB. My car gets enough track time,lol. Plus the fact its supposed to be like 34 degrees tomorrow. And also, Last week the track was SHIT, so im gonna try and get inot a bracket meet with a prepped track next time out.
