The most common 235/60/15 on a 15x8" rim Tread width is good, but they bag out so wide through the sidewall that there is just not enough clearance for when the car squats on launch.

I have been tempted but they have to be stretched too far i'm afraid. May even need to split the guards & add new sections of steel.

some one tell me, can spectators go down near the wall or do i have to be in a pit crew??

Yes, im pretty sure u need to crew for someone. U will need to go with them when they hand there form in at the scrutineering shed and get an arm band.

I think you can only go the the wall when that person is running as well.

• Each competing vehicle will be entitled to two crew members. Crew members will be required to sign an indemnity and will be issued with wrist bands. This will allow them to accompany the vehicle to the start line area while the vehicle is racing.

i know drivers are not aloud over the lines under the building so it sounds like that for pit crew as well??
