Myself and rob-ae86 just got home from Toyota Fest, pretty good turn out, lots of nice cars, heaps of Supras and Celicas, was a pretty eclectic mix of vehicles I must say. I took 113 piccies, I'll put some of the good ones up in a photo thread if someone starts one later.

Yeah, had an awesome day today guys. Highlights was definatly seeing that IS300 which took out nearly every award. and that nuts twin turbo red supra. Great to meet DoriDori, 4ageRolla,ATMOBT 1, River, IN05NT, cuzzo and a few others that i can put a name to face now.
Didnt enter expecting to win anything, which is all good considering the amount of effort which has gone into most if not all of the other cars there, but happy i got to do a video interview with some guy, and go over my car with him while he had a video camera to film the interview to go on his website.

Also looking forwards to seeing the pics in Zoom and everything else, good meeting you's all, and had a great time, i'll definately be attending next time as well, as well as the mega cruise.

    Cheers guys,
    Shannon.

ps: Great tribute to Nathan Dean, with the minute silence, the ribbon and the Nathan Dean stickers. Well done.

Had an awesome day out there catching up with everyone, some that I hadn't seen since last meet, some since last year. The weather was perfect all day and the cars were all awesome and everything different in it's own right.

For once the Supras out numbered the Corollas as well which makes for a nice change.

Cheers to all the board and others for organising again. I was absolutely gob-smacked to take home the runner-up prize in Modern Original, the car is in no was show material having only really just started to play around with getting it all fixed up after having it for a few months and finally selling the corolla. I'm sure (as Josh stated at the presentation) it reflects more the lack of Modern Originals more than anything because I really didn't expect it and the car in all honesty doesn't deserve it.

I hope it will be back next year vying for best sleeper though

I would just like to say thanks to everyone for today. Tomods, entrants and spectators, it was nice to meet a few of you and the praise and comments towards my car was very humbling. Unforntunately time was an issue this year to have the car sorted 100% and cant wait till next time. There was some very nice cars out there today. I especially liked the blue celica in the top corner that won top coupe. (that was my entrants choice)

I had a little trouble getting it back onto the trailer (being low and the budget rental trailer)and I would just like to publicly thank the guys that offered to push it up and stuck around and gave me a hand to get it on the trailer. Matt from the altezzaclub being one but I dont know there names of the others or if they come on this forum (they would know who I am talking about) Thanks.
