    Default AE92 brake lights

    Hey

My brake lights arent working in my ae92 fxgt (with silvertop 20v) the fuse seems to be in good order. I suspect it might be the black box thing that tells you that you have a light out thats faulty.

Where abouts is this located in the hatch back models? and is there anything else i should look at?

    Cheers

    Matt

As far as I know, the AE92s don't have any means of telling you the brake lights are out. This may sound obvious but have you checked the globes? (Both elements?)

cheers, yeah i just found the box about 5 mins ago, its white and sits on the drivers side in the boot behind all the trim just above and back from the jack. Its a lamp failure control box and there was a track in it that had burnt out.

Re soldered it and its working fine now. will replace it though when i find another.

    cheers

Wheres the warning light? Mine might have it, but I pretty sure it doesn't.

Nah, it can't, I sure I've had tail or brake lights out before and no warnings came up on the dash
